The dataset contains a selection of socio-economic indicators for seven Russian Arctic regions (Murmansk region, Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Komi Republic, Yamalo- Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Chukotka Autonomous Okrug) derived from the Russian Federal State Statistics Service, the Federal Treasury of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation. The main indicators cover the period 2006-2016. The dataset also includes indicators calculated by the authors on the basis of statistical data. The data can be used for a variety of quantitative assessments of regional development and economies in the Russian Arctic.
